Jemma holds a Master of Professional Psychology from the University of Newcastle, where her training focused on behavioural, developmental and cognitive psychology. She is also a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).
She is passionate about designing personalised interventions that respond to the unique needs of each individual and their family. Jemma draws on a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), helping clients develop practical tools to navigate challenges and build resilience.
In addition to therapeutic work, Jemma conducts comprehensive psychological assessments for a range of developmental, learning and mental health concerns. These include Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), learning disorders, intellectual disabilities and other mental health presentations. She has also completed training in the administration of the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS).
Jemma is an accredited facilitator of Macquarie University’s Cool Kids and Cool Kids Chilled programs — structured, evidence-based interventions designed to support children and adolescents experiencing anxiety.
Outside of her professional work, Jemma enjoys exploring local markets and taking long walks with her dog.
