Our Fees

At The Jacaranda Centre, we aim to make payment simple and transparent.

There are multiple payment options including payment by card on the spot.

We are set up to process Medicare rebates immediately at the time of your appointment with eligible referrals in place.

Services provided by our Psychologists are also supported by Private Health Fund claims.

Session Costs

The cost of sessions are based on a per hour rate, starting at $225 per 50-60 minute session.

Complex assessments will have costs discussed with you during your first appointment, once a plan unique to your child is established.

Please note, we are not a bulk billing practice.

Referrals and Rebates

You do not need a referral to see a Psychologist. However, to claim a Medicare rebate, you will need a referral from a GP, Paediatrician, or Psychiatrist under an eligible funding pathway (such as the Better Access for Mental Health scheme).

Eligible families can use a Mental Health Treatment Plan to claim up to 10 rebates per year, saving $98.95–$145.25 per session.

We recommend checking with your Private Health Fund before your appointment to understand your out-of-pocket costs.

Government Rebates for Psychology Services may include:

  • Mental Health Treatment Plan
  • Chronic Disease Management
  • Better Start for Children with Disability
  • Helping Children with Autism

NDIS

We are a registered NDIS provider for Therapeutic Supports and continue to see young children for Early Childhood supports if Self or Plan Managed.
